Anyone who has had a broken leg will know what i'm talking about here.
Take the crutches you get given by the hospital, take off the upper arm grips and the extendable bits from the bottom and you have yourself a pair of Tonfa and a pair of Eskrima sticks too.
Only one leg to stand on but very well ARMED!

I've been looking for larger weapons of late. I managed to find a 8 ft staff, unfortunantley it was tapered. Then I managed to find some guy who custom makes Bo staffs, with a whole arange of different types of wood, sizes, thickness and finishes, but U.S. customer only. Largest he would go is 104 inches, which is about 8.6 ft!

So I've decided to make my own staff. It will no doubt be complete rubbish and will probably break within a matter of minutes of it being used. But I plan to buy a rather large and thick bit of good quality dowel, to possibly use on its own, if it seems good enough of quality. Otherwise, I was thinking of possibly hollowing it out and putting some form of metal rod down the middle to strengthen it even more and, with any luck, hoepfully reduce the chance of it possibly snapping!

If anyone knows what I'm trying to get at and has experience in such matters, please let me know, it would help alot.
