Thanks!   admin Pinan Nidan Hi Adam. That looks the way we teach, the stances are very slightly longer, probably to pretty it up for kata competition! Adam Onesti Thanks! Was wondering though, it looks like he has a flat front foot on the 1st and 4th move, where as I seem to remember (and this could be where I'm going wrong, my memory is terrible!) that we would go on to the toes of the front foot in this move? admin Pinan Nidan If you look carefully you'll see he does go into cat stance (nekoashi Dachi) although very briefly. The difficulty with 'Stances' in our style is they are all supposed to be transient with no stopping, this can be tricky when learning as we teach in a 1, 2, 3 manner to convey the correct position at each stage Adam Onesti Great.
