It may be worth noting for those that are interested in entering (or watching) in kata or kumite (sparring) that the South West Open Championships are being held on Sunday 15th June 2008 at Hutton Moor Leisure Centre, Weston-super-Mare. BS22 8LY

I think the kumite uses the point scoring rules. You'll have to check with the organisers. _________________ "Q might have done the right thing for the wrong reason, perhaps we need a good kick in our complacency to get us ready for what's ahead" -- Captain Picard
i would love to go, but with no transport and a lack of time to prepare their is no point, maybe in the future though. I will still be putting some competition events togeather at the dojo, but im ganna wait untill after i got my exams out of the way first.
Yeh, I've been looking forward to those competitions for a long time, lets hope my shoulder will be in good enough condition for the sparring one! _________________ Swift as the wind, silent as the forest, fierce as fire, steady as a mountain.
It's getting there, it's getting there. Patience my dear, these things take time. You should know that with your back injury and all. _________________ Swift as the wind, silent as the forest, fierce as fire, steady as a mountain.

Umm, I'll think you'll find I'm not a teenage witch and in the kindness of not offending the other users, I shall not call you your nickname! _________________ Swift as the wind, silent as the forest, fierce as fire, steady as a mountain.
Now then you two... I think you are drifting from the topic title.
If someone is going I would be interested to know how it went. Unfortunetly it is fathers day and I have other commitments.
I think this one is held every year about the same time so is it one to for interested people to aim for next year?
